Weeds are naturally present in the Sonoran desert. This becomes particularly evident when seeds are activated by rain, or by an irrigation system. To control weeds over a large area, herbicides are the most cost-effective and efficient tools at our disposal.

The DLC Resources, Inc. Weed Control Program consists of the application of pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicides on all granite areas and post-emergent herbicides to turf areas when necessary. DLC uses only products that have been deemed safe by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). All herbicides applications are supervised by Arizona Office of Pest Management (OPM) Licensed Pest Applicators. Our Spray Operations Department consists of over 40 Licensed Pest Applicators and a dedicated team of supervisors that undergo regular training regarding herbicide products and spray techniques.
