Experience has taught us that lush, healthy turf is achieved through knowledgeable management, proactive planning and consistent quality control. What we do today affects the health of the turf months from now. Proactive planning is the key to healthy, long-lasting turf.

Just as every spring presents different temperature and humidity conditions, managing turf from transition to overseeding and back requires a customized approach each year. Horticultural practices, such as low mow heights, aeration, fertilization, dethatching and weed control, need to be repeated several times each year. Simply changing the irrigation setting when the temperature changes is not enough to ensure the health of a community’s turf. We believe these practices are essential to healthy turf. A proactive program must be in place throughout the year in order to keep turf healthy.
