Description
The responsibilities of the tree worker primarily involve tree pruning and removal with a strong focus on safety and customer service. The tree worker will operate the latest equipment in tree maintenance such as chain saws, chippers and pruning tools. Being versed in arboriculture safety standards is a must. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person who has an adequate level of experience, knowledge and can focus on delivering quality workmanship and exceptional service.
Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Candidates must have 2 years plus experience as a tree worker
- Must have an understanding of pruning techniques and standards
- Must have knowledge of tree climbing techniques
- Must be safety oriented at all times
- Credentials such as Certified Tree Worker are a plus
- Ability to converse in English/Spanish is a plus
- Good motor vehicle record a plus
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to work under extreme and often adverse climatic conditions
