Description
A Crew Foreman can expect 4 - 6 hours of overtime per week. A Foreman directs people and equipment resources on a day-to-day basis to perform contracted maintenance activities on selected master-planned communities. Key responsibilities include directing the crew, performing hands on duties at times, regular follow up and taking direction from the superintendent. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person who has an adequate level of experience, knowledge and can focus on delivering exceptional service.
Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Must be able to plan, direct, instruct and follow up with the crew members
- Must be safety oriented at all times
- Candidates must have 2 years plus foreman experience in landscape maintenance
- Basic knowledge of turf, tree, and shrub care
- Experience with irrigation systems and troubleshooting is helpful
- Ability to converse in Spanish
- Good motor vehicle record
- Credentials such as Certified Landscape Professional or Certified Spray Tech are a plus
