Description
A Foreman directs people and equipment resources on a day-to-day basis to perform contracted maintenance activities on selected master-planned communities. Key responsibilities include directing the crew, performing hands on duties at times, regular follow up and taking direction from the superintendent. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person who has an adequate level of experience, knowledge and can focus on delivering exceptional service.
Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Demonstrate leadership and professional landscape skills
- Coordinate crew activities (typically 2-5 crew members)
- Knowledge and proper use of power and hand tools
- Knowledge and proper use of lawn mowing and edging equipment
- Basic irrigation function, programming and repair (spray heads, drip, etc.)
- Ability to converse in Spanish
- Good motor vehicle record
- Credentials such as Certified Landscape Professional or Certified Spray Tech are a plus
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to work under extreme and often adverse climatic conditions
