2009 Excellence in Landscape Awards

Arizona landscape contractors were honored at "The Thirty Third Annual Arizona Excellence in Landscaping Awards" program on November 21, 2009 at The Wigwam Resort in Phoenix, Arizona sponsored by The Arizona Landscape Contractors’ Association (ALCA). DLC received three Excellence in Landscaping Awards: Award of Excellence for Grayhawk Community Association in the category of Commercial Maintenance over $500,000 annually, Award of Excellence for WestWing Mountain Homeowners Association in the category of Commercial Maintenance $350,001 to $500,000 annually and Award of Distinction for Red Mountain Ranch Owners Association in the category of Commercial Maintenance $250,000 to $350,000 annually. These awards are based on the highest standards of achievement, harmony with the environment and creativity.

In addition to being named to the Fastest Growing Companies list, DLC was presented with ACE's Innovator of the Year Award. The Innovation Award recognizes one company each year which has successfully invented, organized, developed, or managed a concept into a commercial product, service, or process. DLC's proprietary, GIS-based Comprehensive Arbor Management Program earned the company the innovation honor in 2009

Leading trade magazine for the professional landscape industry releases its 11th annual list of the industry's 100 largest revenue-generating firms

Ranked 64th out of 100 Largest Landscape Firms Nationwide

The list, published in Lawn & Landscape´s June issue, highlights the 100 largest companies in the fast-growing landscape industry based on 2008 year-end revenue. Companies on the list provide a range of green industry services including landscape maintenance, chemical lawn care/fertilization, landscape design/build/installation, irrigation installation/maintenance and tree and ornamental care.

DLC moved up to 64th on the list. We also made the "Tenacious 12" list, which are companies that showed the highest rate of growth from 2007 to 2008.
